Our Story
In the quaint village of Ramlieh, nestled amidst rolling hills and fertile landscapes, the story of Al Jawbi Farm Guest House unfolds like a cherished tale of love, resilience, and the pursuit of a dream. At the heart of this narrative are Dorid and Violet, a couple whose journey from distant shores to the embrace of their homeland embodies the spirit of Al Jawbi.
Dorid, a Lebanese man like many of his compatriots, spent the better part of his life traversing the globe in pursuit of work. Working tirelessly, he aimed to provide for his family, miles away from the warmth of his village. Meanwhile, Violet, a woman with a passion for cooking and a heart that relished welcoming guests, found solace in the kitchen and the joy of preparing rustic delicacies.

Life took an unexpected turn during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unable to travel as freely, Dorid and Violet seized the opportunity to reconnect with their roots. They acquired a plot of land, where the air was pure, and the soil fertile – a canvas awaiting the strokes of their dreams. In the simplicity of planting and nurturing the land, a profound realization dawned upon them. The couple found solace, not just in the richness of the earth, but in the shared joy of friends who began visiting their newfound haven. The bond between the soil, the family, and the laughter of friends sprouted a seed of an idea.
A place where the heart finds a home, and everyvisitor becomes a part of a larger, heartfelt narrative.

- Dorid, inspired by the genuine warmth that surrounded him, decided to turn their haven into something more. He returned to his village, armed not with grand plans, but with a vision fueled by love for the land and the desire to share it with others.

The business thrived not on profit margins, but on the genuine connection formed with those who crossed its threshold.
- Today, Al Jawbi Farm Guest House stands as a testament to the power of a dream rooted in love and authenticity.
